About me:
From a young age, I was captivated by the world of video games, and by the time I was thirteen, I already harbored the dream of one day working as a game developer. This aspiration took a more concrete form in 9th grade when I began to delve into programming and game engines. My initial foray into C++ within Unreal Engine was met with a steep learning curve, revealing the multifaceted nature of game development and the vast skillset required, spanning animation to modeling. However, these challenges only strengthened my resolve.
Driven by this unwavering dream, I officially began my game development studies at SGD Darmstadt in 2019. I successfully completed this program in 2021, graduating with a perfect score of 100/100 and top honors. Following a year's break for health reasons, my thirst for knowledge led me to explore the realm of game art in 2022. This year was largely dedicated to career planning and further identifying my specific interests within the broader field of game development. I also used this time to enhance my English language skills at a language school.
In 2023, I embarked on the Visual Effects course at CG Spectrum, covering animation, modeling for film and games, and 2D compositing for film. My growing appreciation for film led me to pursue an additional two terms of compositing after the initial course. By 2024, having gained job-relevant compositing skills, I felt a strong pull to return to my primary passion: game development.
Currently, until July 2025, I am enrolled in the Advanced Animation course, which will culminate in an animation demo reel. Since October 2024, I have also been concurrently studying Game Development in Unreal Engine at the M3DS Academy, recognized by The Rookies as one of the top 20 game development schools globally. Furthermore, since May 2025, I have been participating in a two-month Unity bootcamp at Game Train to revitalize my previous Unity C# skills.
My comprehensive educational journey is set to conclude between December 2025 and February 2026, equipping me with industry-ready skills in C++ Unreal Engine, Unity C#, and 3D animation in Maya for games. Additionally, I possess skills in rigging for both games and, to some extent, cinematics within games.
